9 Months Old
Nolan turned 9 months old on February 10th!
He is growing like crazy and it seems like he tries something new every day. Some of his recent developments include - crawling, standing, cruising, picking up his own food, waving, imitating sounds we make, saying mama and dada, and flirting with strangers when we are out and about.
Nolan had a great visit with the doctor and we are thankful to have a perfectly healthy son. He weighs 20 pounds and he is 29 inches tall.

On the Move!
Nolan is now officially on the move! And so are we. He worked on crawling for a while, but he moved onto standing and cruising along the furniture a week later. It looks like walking will be in his future soon.
Feeding Frenzy
Nolan began eating solid foods at 6 months. We've made most of his food at home and he's been a good sport about trying anything we give him. So far, his preferences are as follows:
Likes - bananas, apples, pears, pineapple, cantaloupe, watermelon, carrots, butternut squash, zucchini, oatmeal, cauliflower, yogurt, cottage cheese, sweet potato, mashed potato, onion, tomato, soy crumbles, salmon, corn, pasta, yogurt melts, crunchy baby cheeto-like snacks, cereal puffs, cinnamon, cumin, garlic
Will tolerate, but doesn't love - broccoli, peas, green beans, avocado, rice cereal, chili powder
We recently received clearance from Nolan's pediatrician to feed his the same foods we are eating at meals. He has to process everything with only two teeth, but he's doing great so far.
